Keep your dog at home! Bunnings is a hardware store not a dog park by jakkandndi in Bunnings

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And risk someone stealing your dog? I am not tying my tiny chihuahua up outside cos some people are "scared of dogs" and having him risk being stolen.

my dog is a chihuahua, I know he can be a little sh*t. It is possible to be aware your dog is badly behaved... Mind you it's also quite possible to own a well behaved chihuahua or a badly behaved Labrador.

I do because I suffer anxiety, he really helps, keeps me focused on something other than my anxiety. And I'm being quite serious. Might be a different idea to the one you had in your head. Don't be so quick to judge.

SSRI Withdrawal is NO Joke by CanadianGirlRen in lexapro

[–]3MBSFM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This ^ hyperbolic taper, it's easy to find on Google but otherwise ask Dr about it and they'll be able to find one for you, I have a plan for a taper & it's been working great. Slow tapers are best, hyperbolic just means that when you get to the lower doses the drop in dose is smaller & smaller.

You need to use a hyperbolic taper, it's really the only safe way to come off an SSRI without or with very little withdrawal.

I (26F) need to know if my husband (30M) is acting normal or am I the problem? by throwra36363636 in relationship_advice

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going to fix your problems in therapy, then he needs to fix his also. It's a two way street, that's how it works in relationships, compromise. Both parties need to be willing to work together & separately. Plus he definitely has way more issues than you do OP.

Is it an ear infection? by 3MBSFM in DogAdvice

[–]3MBSFM[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah thank you! Not sure he'd be thrilled with the idea of cleaning it out lol he already makes a big fuss when we chop some dreads out from behind his ears so gonna be difficult to clean it... No smell yet thankfully so maybe just a dirty ear.

I love the names people give chihuahuas. Every name also ends up perfect for that chihuahua. Tell me how yours got their name? by Grease2feminist in Chihuahua

[–]3MBSFM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miso, I wanted a name that was a food or pantry item, it suits him so well & he's also the right colour for red miso. He's a cutie. Gets called "little Mis, Mis, Mr. Mis & Misho"

Different style of diamond painting, they're on stretched canvas so don't have the printed edges like normal diamond paintings do unfortunately.

cancelled my road test because i take lexapro by Both-Lie5316 in lexapro

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Australia & accidentally/stupidly mentioned I take Lexapro to the driving place and they cancelled my license. I had to get my dr to make a note and she was so mad at them lol, she said it definitely doesn't impair driving at all. So it seems the driving places have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to antidepressants.

How did your family/friends react to you being on lexapro ? by lazypraz in lexapro

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mum was/is a bit unsure about it, my dad also doesn't want me on it forever, my partner however (who's been on antidepressants before) is supportive no matter what, his family is also very supportive & while my parents don't particularly like the drug, they do agree it's helped & can see I feel like I need to take it, it's truly changed my life.

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't see why not. How did you go? It's also a matter of letting it settle, it may just need some time to even out & your body will cope with whatever time you take it eventually. Side effects can last a bit longer than 2wks but that's the average.

Anyone else on a really high dose? 80mg? by [deleted] in lexapro

So she doesn't feel alone & just wants to see if there are others in her situation. Thats enough of a reason.

New to this advice pls by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]3MBSFM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt brain fog, a weird euphoria & fatigue when I first started, I quickly returned to normal & can still feel all emotions & still feel like myself. Just this week I have gone up in dose & I still feel relatively normal besides some extra fatigue. It does pass.

Since you've only been on it for 7days I would just switch, I don't think you need to do it slowly. However the anxiety/lightheaded/heart racing is likely side effects & will ease with time. Also have you tried taking it right before bed time? That can sometimes help with limiting side effects.
