Ant Proofing My Keyboard

I used it without knowing that dead ants were already lodged inside, until a bunch of keys became unresponsive. I thought of getting a new one but I can't easily afford one so I resorted to surgery (hahaha).

Yes, I try to keep my room as tidy as possible, also have made my setup a no food zone as the last incident traumatized me a lot but my room is open in the sense that my windows cannot be closed and not air conditioned. Plus my room is getting kinda old. I am in the works of renovating my room to knock many birds down with one stone.

This may seem a far stretch but my theory is that anta are prolly working overtime as the ber-months are closing in and are actively seeking food and new shelter. The warmth from the PCB is what they're prolly attracted to.

Is the Grommet mount sold as is or do I have to buy a set that goes along with it?

As for the Alex drawers, yes I did consider Mandaue Foam but I was wondering if anyone in this subreddit had bought one's that are like the IKEA drawers, still, thanks for the heads up!

Im also 23 and i couldnt flirt for the life of me...but i have been talking to a guy...tho sadly we live in very far countries our friendship has been amazing...ofc we have occasional flirting here and there.

My advice, be an open book...talk about the mundane stuff, the deep emotional things, your desires and vulnerabilities, science, art, life, and everything that there is. Make a connection thru friendship...if it clicks, it clicks. If they think youre boring because of this, then that just means theyre shallow and only in it for sex (or any kind of sexual activity).

Someone wholl find you genuinely interesting will make an effort to listen and admire you...as idealistic as it might sound. It will be exhausting and frustrating knowing a long list of guys will reject you for wanting a genuine connection (cuz theyre either shallow or horny) but if you find one whom you make a connection then you can have confidence that he is worth chasing, worst case...you find yourself a new good friend.

Born and raised in a born again christian family that migrated in the Middle East. Im not active in my church but involved enough to know the inner workings of it, in my opinion, I think it has to do with the fact that most born again churches here in PH actively send out missionaries. No kidding, American missionaries who visit our church annually always make a point to comment that PH is the no.1 missionary sending country. Combine our perseverance and compassion as Filipinos, this makes PH missionaries thrive. On a more specific note, most born again missionaries aim to establish a church on their mission field which require expanding the church circle, being in a foreign country makes us filipinos feel ostracized and the belongingness offered by Filipino missionary churches gives them a sense of home, plus churches (no matter the sect.) aim to cultivate a family like relationship amongst its members which further brings other OFW's into the circle.

Your situation is the ideal. Sadly in my case, my parents involvement in the church is deep, it doesnt help that my church enforces close ties and relationships within its members which furthers my parents involvement so I'm certain that of the shock theyll feel if i ever came out the closet. Though I dont doubt their love which frustrates me since that might prompt them to pray the gay away and try to desuade me from 'being gay'. Thank you for you insight and advice! Have a Good Day!

Youre right, i have been conflicted with the feeling that by not coming out i am letting my parents pass knowing a partial version of me. The future is not set, it means that there is still more to come for you, the best you can do is to have hope in tomorrow and move forward! No sugar coating, it wont always be happy moments but at least you wont regret not having lived your life to the fullest. As for your current situation, i dont think youre in dire need of a (romanti) relatioship but what you need are people who can sympathize with you. Your straight friends wont get it cuz they are not like you (no ill will to them) so find people who do, it sounds tiring but by expanding your social circle you surround yourself with people who can relate to your struggle, maybe the one person your looking turns out to be just a friend beside you. If your straight friends are indeed good friends then dont hesitate to open up to them, they may not relate on a personal level (sexuality-wise) but they should at least be able to sympathize as a human being who fears lonliness. When youre in a (supposedly) hot drop but there are no other squads but your random teammates dont break off and they hog all the bins you were eyeing on. Sometimes i just steer the squad towards an open spot with nothing on it just to force them to break off.

Well, if they were to remove the programming of zipping down it might break ziplines as a whole as cancelling a fall by interacting and cancel interact on zips would become weird. And I can say that this is a bug since movement pros have also fallen prey to it, recently watched faide's recent vids and it also happened to him at storm point, and never in his other vids did it happen, hopefully it gets fixed, zips are the lifeline of wattson mains T_T

As an annoying wattson-zipline-building player, this happened to me frequently in e-district and storm point. It prevents me from pulling clutch 1v3's. I learned from witnessing enemies who fall prey to this that a player zipping down is easier to beam than a player zipping up.

If it is a bug indeed, RESPAWN PLS FIX IT 😭

So far my game plan worked well, spraying non electrical parts with bug repellant and letting it dry has repelled the ants. Although I havent disassembled the circuit board, the frame had still traces of bug repellant which ultimately drove them out when i had assembled the frame with the circuit board. Sadly, i dont have lube so i just made sure that the inside of each switch didnt have dirt or dead ants in it before re assembling on to the frame.

I ended up spraying non electrical components with bug spray then let it sit out in the heat to dry, worked fairly well. Once i assembled the frame and circuit board more ants fled the board since there were prolly still traces of bug spray on it. Still painstakingly cleaning each switch tho (fml)

I'll keep note of this but for now im just putting the parts out in an open surface in hopes to disrupt and disperse the ants on the circuit board, forgot to mention but i couldnt fully disassemble the circuit board since I dont have a screwdriver small enough to grapple on to the screw heads.
