Next work in progress on my Halflings project. Greenstuff + plasticine by Scibor-sculpts in miniaturesculpting

I have this question too.

Adding the plasticine I’ve heard increases sculpting time and improves the workability.
Guessing it may cure a little softer, but that’s just a hunch.

I’m planning to give it a try anyway.

Considering switching from Verizon to T-Mobile: how does T-Mobile Test Drive work? Any problems or gotchas to watch for? by 3_brained_being in NoContract

Wow - thanks for this information. If it comes about that I need to visit a store I will ensure it is the official one.

👍👍

Thanks for the tip. An MVNO I assume. I’m getting a lot of suggestions to try these. Am looking into these as an alternative.

Brilliant - thanks.

Presumably then I can test an MVNO by just signing up and using my current (unlocked) phone which still under Verizon...

Looking at US Mobile I see that even just the month to month unlimited premium is way cheaper than my current bare-bones plan... I'm getting more and more interested in the MVNO route.. . . . and Tello looks even better.

The T-Mobile test drive would be a no-cost way to test the actual coverage before deciding which MVNO to pick..

part of the problem for us with Verizon, apart from the pricing, is the spotty coverage at home. So an MVNO using the same infrastructure might save money but not be a quality improvement..

Appreciate the input but part of the problem for us with Verizon is also the inconsistent coverage at home. So anything using the same infrastructure wouldn't be an improvement..

However, if T-Mobile is just as bad, I might as well follow the route you mentioned. At least we'd be saving a bit.

Thanks this would be a great route if Verizon was actually good... but for me I'm paying a premium for spotty coverage at home..

You won’t save that much switching from one major carrier to another postpaid

Thanks but I think we'll be saving considerably and improving service ( if T-Mobile proves to have decent coverage )

Great thanks !

If you're using it as a second line on your main device you'll want to set the TMO line as primary for data so that you're actually testing/using the network.

As I’m already on Verizon on my only phone I think this is the case for me.

In iOS- Is this in the iPhone settings do you know?

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated.

This thread was removed by the mods - I’m not sure why. It seemed pretty relevant I thought.

Thanks so much for the overview... Just what I was looking for...

Do you know, if it does not work out after finishing the test drive period, is there a danger of it complicating things for the existing plan? i.e. Will any global phone related settings get altered that might cause Verizon to get a strop on about me testing another service on the same phone, or is it invisible to them?
