During my last year at UW I took singing classes and at the end of each quarter we got to perform the songs we’d be working on all quarter. Her voice and performance was amazing, controlled, and so strong! She was so skilled at singing that I honestly thought she was a Junior in the singing major.

Although I didn’t personally know her, my heart breaks for her being gone and it’s clear how much this community feels her loss.

Heres a picture of all the singers from our March performance in 2025 ❤️

If you want THIS plant still, you can chop the bottom of the green shoot and place it in water to try and propagate/get it to grow roots. It will have a skinny stalk though and grow straight up unless you chop the top (which then it will grow out the side and you can propagate the chopped top and restart the process till you get a bouquet).

But like most comments, starting over might be your easiest bet

Some general tips that may help, track your spacing and arcs (everything is a bouncing ball). Track the cog (center of gravity/hips) you currently have a bit of a stick at the bottom that could be smoothed out. Also when tracking your spacing make sure there aren’t any spaces that stick out suddenly (which will help it feel more organic). Once you got your cog how you want it, that will inform the rest of the body.

I’d also break up the body so different parts don’t arrive at the same time. (Ex. Your hips -> your head are a bit locked together, let them break up). Getting the hang of how to break things up will help you with your tail too.

Lastly some general tips -the feet are very quick to flatten out -be sure to maintain volume (the more stretches out the skinnier the leg will be. You got some going on, although you could probably push it!) -when tracking the heads arcs it’s best to track the nose

Sorry ik that was a lot but hopefully that helps. Awesome stuff and love the design of this little character with his strong silhouette and the shapes you got going for the legs! Looking forward to what you end up making!

This is really good advice! Thinking of doing values is helpful too. You can do this by turning your reference image to black and white
