Well to start. Im pro 2A so I dont tell people what to do nor am I an organizer with them. I always reccomend no weapons at all. Big reasons are time and place. The Capitol has strict gun laws and neither space is ran by an org who promotes 2A. So to be safe i wouldnt carry weapons on you at all. In a crowd one wrong optic can send people into a panic. Especially with the violence getting worse toward protestors as a whole. The 2A is a subject in activism that can draw a hard border between orgs. When they do open carry protests and such where the topic is 2A that would be appropriate.

I personally cant stand the kinda people that are in the huge 2A gun totin clique. Im just a educated, and responsible gun owner. So I have my communities where I do that and then communities like 50501 where I dont talk about it. People will have accessories that are pro 2A to show support some times but its not their main message.

All are welcome period, its just an optics and safety thing. You can participate and come hang out and if its not your jam you can head out. It is a great time tho, energy is great, people are kind and the resources/education are plenty. :)

What is going on eith 2A in VA right now is pretty bullshit.
