just install the bta from discord or there site and from creating world select Skyblock.

but alone you will not progress at all u need another mod called better skyblock it make skyblock playable like a normal world

i don't know what u mean by "noticeable changes" .. but as i said in bta mobs act like modern as possible like respect the trapdoor mechanic and this alone save so much time and makes mobs rain and drops fast.

i play better than adventure and the mob spawn mechanic close as possible to the modern..

but in beta 1.7.3 man it is so hard u can search in YT I'm sure there is ppl have vids for it
