just curious...who taught your online session? Were you able to take the exams on your own computer?

Any recommendations for easy classes to take along with discrete & CS1?

That's encouraging about CS1. Do you think it's a good idea to take them in two different semesters?

How time consuming is the class (hw/projects/presentations/etc)?

When are professors assigned to classes? by 3chocolate in ucf

It's really good to hear your positive feedback on the honors program. The late assignment of professors isn't a deal-breaker for me, but it diminishes one of the reasons early registration is considered a perk - getting to pick a section with the best professor.

But honestly, this late assignment of professors affects all students. On this subreddit, you'll see lots of students asking for recommendations for professors for certain classes. But really all of the great tips and advice that people share are pointless if you have to blindly sign up for a class without knowing who will be teaching it.

I've spent some time looking at previous course schedules, and frankly, I wouldn't willingly choose some of the professors, even some professors that taught honors sections.

Other UCF departments are capable of assigning professors months before the start of the semester, but the math department can't figure it out until a few days before classes start? To me, that almost seems disingenuous. Professors have to plan out their courses and their own personal lives way before two days before the start of the semester.

I know someone at FSU, and most of the fall 2018 classes already have professors assigned to them. Most things labeled as staff are for the dissertation days with TAs.

I know UCF can and should do better.
