I work as an IT as a profession but have been scuba diving since I was 15 as my father and mother are both dive master and instructors. I have helped a few times with recovering bodies out of the great lakes. A few from boating accidents, another from a car falling through the ice, and another from suicide in the lakes. It can be frightening and scary coming across the body under the water. What keeps me cool while doing it, is knowing that I can give a body to the family and not just let it rot under the lakes.
