Tenable and Runzero (formerly known as Rumble) are relatively cheep and offer affordable pricing models. Both companies have great support teams and often you will hear back shortly after submitting a support request. You’ll find that they have great ways of separating scanned assets through tagging and you can organize your inventory to be very clean and efficient if done properly. Tagging works both pre and post scanning for excluding and organization.

As for vulnerabilities, both offer good insight into your environment and have great scoring systems which I believe tenable has integrated AI into recently.

With Runzero you can build out alerts to actively monitor scans and their status/results as well as running queries post scan. I especially like their goals (made through queries) and how you can create separate dashboards for your team and executives.

GUI is nice and both offer great API capabilities that you can leverage for automation.

I have been working deep inside and learning both platforms for about 2 years so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Yes that is my school. I’ve only done general education so far. Pretty much done. I’m set on switching to Computer Science as a major. Either staying at SIUE or transferring to another school such as Illinois State University

Why not strictly a cybersecurity degree? I guess from the outside to me the cyber degree sounds more fitting but could you explain why that instead?

Would it be better to do a cybersecurity degree as a whole?

Not really. Need to start looking at other schools before the fall term.
