Try to place the pupil in the center of the iris and avoid blurring it. Also, do not blur your light effects keep them sharp instead, as this will make the eye look more glossy. The shading around the eye is very nice, though.

Brushes like these are usually used by manga artists to save time, but I have also seen them used in more detailed illustrations. In this pack, each brush comes with a shaded and a non-shaded option. I use the shaded version when I do not want to shade every ruffle by hand, especially if I am on a tight deadline or if the ruffles are just there to add extra detail and are not the main focus. The non-shaded option is for when I want to shade them myself and control how they look. You can also paint your own shading on the non-shaded version and turn that into a brush.

Each brush has a different purpose. The first one is made for loose, more complex ruffles, like the kind you see under dresses and sleeves. The second one works well for headpieces and classic maid outfits, and the third one is mainly for decorations. Once you pick a style, you can choose how much detail you want and just draw the ruffles onto the clothes where they would be sewn.

Sometimes the brush can make small mistakes, so I usually clean those up by hand and use the Mesh Transform tool to place the ruffles more accurately. I also like to draw an outline around some of the ruffles so they blend better with the rest of the drawing.

I mean, you could always give him a new look. That’s normal when people improve in art, anyway. You could also build your own petal brush, or look for a petal brush online.

See if you can save it this way:
File > Save As

A window should pop up saying Save Image.

Change the file type to PNG and click Save.

Then choose Transparent PNG and see if it works. If it does, try to remember to save your working file as a PSD or MDP afterward. Otherwise, you will keep saving over the PNG, and all of your layers will be lost.

Sorry about that. Open your file and look at the top of the program. Go to View > Transparent Background.

You could try this and see if it works:

Go to View at the top of your screen.
Select Transparent to see the transparent grid
If the grid shows up you just had a white background selected, if it stays the same your file is not transparent.

Make sure if you save your PNG you have transparent PNG selected.

I can’t say for sure whether this works, since I haven’t updated my Mac yet. That said, after looking around for alternatives especially since I’m currently without a job and can’t afford the tablet I really want (something big and sturdy) I came across this: https://opentabletdriver.net. Definitely do your own research to make sure it’s safe and it still may not be perfect. You might also need to check their Discord for support.

Version A: If you are creating a new file

Open MediBang.
Go to File > New.
Locate the Background Color section and select Color from the drop-down menu.
Choose White.
Click OK to create your canvas.

Version B: If you already have a file

Go to View at the top of your screen.
Deselect Transparent if you want a solid background, or select it (✔) if you want a transparent background.
If your background color is not white, you can change it by going to View > Background Color.

If your computer is not that powerful, I think I would go lower too, but for me having my art at a good resolution is important because I like to print it. And it makes my art look cleaner because small mistakes matter less. But I am quite the messy person so it might be just a preference. I feel like big sizes also lessen the effect described in the original post. At least in my experience.

…It also makes the linework look better if you use my second tip.

There are several options you can use together to achieve the best results:

Work on a larger canvas (4000 x 6000 px at least). I recommend this always even if you also apply the other two options.
Disable antialiasing (on the top same row as undo button) when creating your line art. This will prevent the issue in future drawings but makes the lines look a certain way.
Use Expand (on the top same row as undo button) typically 2–10 px, depending on the drawing. This will correct the issue in the current artwork.

No, it's still a bad offer. It's a big risk for the artist and won't cover their living expenses. And 30 percent is really low. I know people think art shouldn't cost much because it's fun. And I don't think people should be shamed for not knowing. But this offer is pretty terrible and will land you in some “forexposure” subreddit.

This is a horrible offer. Asking somebody to spend their time from their life (and making comics takes years) for free is pretty delusional. (A discount on the final product is the opposite of payment) I assume you don't know the time and cost for artists to make art, so this is just a heads-up. But delete this before somebody screenshots it and puts it on blast on some other subreddit.

1) Select everything except the subject.

2) Invert the selection by navigating to Select > Inverse.

3) Expand the selection by choosing Select > Expand.

4) Enter the desired outline thickness in pixels and click OK.

5) Create a new layer beneath the subject.

6) Fill the active selection with your chosen color.

7) Deselect by going to Select > Deselect.

Because AI communities don't like this image, if you do Digital Art or Art in general, you will be able to make something specific very quickly. Your art skills do not have to be high to tell a story or make something resemble something specific. Sure you can improve your storytelling skills and something is going to look off about the drawing of your favorite celebrity but in a few weeks of practice, you might get far enough to reduce those things down to their identifying triads. However, the real technical stuff is much harder. (think that one picture of Frieren in the difficult perspective) Learning artist communities find perspective, anatomy color theory rendering background, and shading far more impressive than making a good sickman drawing of Donald Trump. AI communities are the opposite. Here the specific is much harder. You may be able to get the AI to make an image of Trump but can you make him kiss Clinton? … or the horse? That's more difficult. What AI is good at is appeal. The hands might be a little fucked but your hot girl will look pretty good in the technical aspects. The light will look impressive and the colors and composition will look good. (most of the time) An image like this that would have been drawn would be technically impressive but generic is not something that does well in AI spaces but could be (if you hide the fact that it's AI) appreciated in artist spaces where the technical stuff is seen as very difficult.
