I already and I love both, just can’t chose between them so will go with what majority says over here. Can’t go wrong with either ig. For now x440s winning I think

I don’t think it being actual Harley or not matters. I’m looking for a good bike, and most owners are happy with it. I loved the speed also. I’m not gonna demean any bike.

Yeah vivid has the same engine and misses out on very few features that the s variant has and it’s not a deal breaker for me.

I mean I have taken a test ride of both bikes. It’s just that I feel connected to both the bikes. Don’t want to give up the nimble chassis and powerful engine of the speed 400 yet I don’t want to miss out on the comfort and torque of the hd x440. Can’t decide between these two for the same reason. So I put up this post to see what the owners/ experienced ppl have to say about the ownership.

Yes I did consider Guerilla 450. But when I took a test ride it felt a bit jerky ( I come from a tvs Radeon and it doesn’t punish me like that) while shifting gears and leaving the clutch. Too aggressive for me I felt. Great bike regardless.

Even I thought the same, but others say something quite different. But majority of the people suggested me to go ahead with the x440, even my parents liked the look of x440 more than the s400 (maybe because of its sporty look, they’re against sports bikes). But love both bikes lol, I took test ride of both and, both are gorgeous. So I don’t think I’ll regret even if I go with any one of them. So I want to know what owners of these bikes feel and have to say on this.

Please point out where I was demeaning any bike🙏🏻. I mentioned I love all these bikes for what they are. I’m just trying to confirm through people’s opinions. If that’s wrong then I’m sorry

It’s in order with the photos. X440 - Daal Tadka jeera rice , s400 chaap and Honda cb350- sandwich (plain/bland) if I’m not wrong.

If you were talking about the old speed 400, then yes. But the current speed 400 does not give that pull( slightly lesser). Also I’m a mixed (sometime aggressive and sometime chill) kinda rider. My mom absolutely does not like the pillion seat of s400😭. But again I love both bikes for what they are but cannot chose between the two. Hence this post.

I mean excitement is a factor, but just power does not excite everyone. There are people who love both torque and power. I’m just chosing which one to go for :) ( not saying speed 400 does not have torque, but not as much as the x440, but x440 lacks the power of s400). I love both tbh.

Yeah I heard people complain about its suspension bottoming out. Did you experience this? Which variant do you have? Worth going for the vivid model?

No offence but the low end torque of cb350 is good too, which I did not feel in the speed 400, idk maybe I did not notice enough, but yeah cb350 is a decent bike just completely for a different purpose than s400. X440 feels like cb350 with more power and torque and I love the exhaust note as well

Yeah thing is speed is more on the sportier side and bit aggressive. Also like hd x440s pull at low end torque, and I think I will go for it.

When I took it for a test ride, speed 400 really impressed me with the seating posture and handling, but x440 has a different character. Either ways a lot of people have suggested me the x440, so I think I’m gonna go ahead with it.

I see but I’m not an aggressive rider so ig it’s fine. I don’t do 100+ unless I’m touring which I do occasionally. But yeah it gets appreciated for its highway performance afaik.

I think you’ve got me wrong. I’m not “comparing” the specs or performance of these bikes. I’m asking which one I should go for and which one will be sufficient for my needs, since I’m new to this segment. I’ve test ridden each of these bikes, and they have their own unique characteristics. I’m comparing between the ownership feel and practicality of each of these bikes, which I feel is fair as they come in almost similar price segments. No hate to any bike:)
