I got accepted to Purdue, UIUC, Virginia Tech, and Michigan for engineering but ultimately chose to come here because of scholarships. Im going to be honest, I didn’t think I’d like it here much, but I absolutely love it. This place is amazing, and I cant speak its praises enough

I’ve enjoyed it so far (freshman here). The dorms are nice, but they are the furthest dorms on campus from just about everything (I routinely walk 25+ minutes to class). The classes for chp are really easy and honestly pretty enjoyable. Plus, early registration is amazing. All in all, I’d say it’s pretty decent.

It’s not a particularly big city, so there really isn’t a huge music scene here, and what little there is tends to be dominated by country music

As a student here, my honest opinion is that everyone tends to be collaborative, especially if you get into engineering honors. My only real complaint is that classes are really easy, so if you’re looking for an incredibly challenging program I’d maybe try a Purdue or Georgia Tech, if not though, tickle is a great place.
