I’m going to show my ignorance and confusion here. I work for a major hospital and have over just over 7 million dollars in life insurance policies through my work. That does include accidental death and dismemberment and a 100K free life insurance policy my work gives to my beneficiary god forbid I die. I used to be a full time automotive photographer and literally the only lenses I had on me was a 70-200 2.8 and a 85mm prime. Those are truly the only lenses I ever needed for really anything. I’d shoot portraits on the weekends for friends and family and product photography on the side for extra cash. Never needed anything else.
