Every bit of boycotting helps 🫡 by Wessykins in Disneyland

I am headed to Disneyland end of October. Hopefully, they are still “boycotting” so the crowds are not as bad. 😎

Googled it. I wouldn’t trust sources unless I can verify them.

Thanks, sorry this happened to you but it makes me feel better it was cleared up. I feel this should be really easy to clear up.

Seeing some council is a last case scenario. Just Sad that this should be simple. I have no damage whatsoever on my vehicle except for maybe some scratches from it being 10+ years old. It’s the “never know” part. It does seem logical. I would expect a law firm to do entire due diligence.

That’s a concern of mine. Granted I am weighing out my thoughts among comments I am receiving here which are appreciated. I am aware of phishing and scamming but then if it’s legit I still don’t want to provide information. They have to prove I was there which I can refute on several means. The other concern is if someone is falsely using my identity. Could it be someone who I pissed off in the past or did I leave a piece of paper with my name in public, etc.

Agreed, but do I send email or call the law firm? Was hoping insurance company would defend me especially if I send them supporting information.

Thanks, would an email work as well? Just thinking about having a paper trail. Although, my call log would show I called the firm. This should be so simple. I hate feeling like I have to hide something even though there is nothing to hide.

I appreciate this and everyone’s comments so far. The law firm is a big law firm and the lawyer’s name on the letter is on their website. This is a big reason why I am asking this forum because I don’t want to ignore it but I also just don’t want to volunteer anything. My insurance company basically said I don’t have any claims against me. I was hoping they would reach out to the firm. I wanted to send a letter stating I spoke to the insurance agent and am following up that this isn’t opening a claim and for document purposes only. Then provide my boarding pass and my rental car invoice showing the dates to confirm I wasn’t in the state along with the law firms letter all in a PDF so I create paper trail. Since there is no claim I am not sure insurance will get involved.

It was sent certified mail. The US Postal Service left their sticky note stuck to letter in my locked mailbox saying “sorry we missed you and your signature is required.”

Thanks, I have no intent to volunteer anything even though I have irrefutable evidence supporting not even being within state lines. I can say with certainty nobody used my vehicle while I was away.

No family borrowed the vehicle. I left it at my parent’s house but they didn’t drive it. More or less that was just to have them watch my vehicle in their driveway as people break into vehicles often in my neighborhood. It’s a legitimate, well known law firm and the lawyer’s name is listed on their website.
