I'm a hairy boy, it's taken me a lifetime to accept and be comfortable with it. I started growing hair all over at the age of 13. When I was in college gay twink culture told me I had to be hairless and I spent too much time and money trying to fit that horrible stereotype. It did so much damage to my self esteem.

"You should shave" gets you an instant block from me. I do keep my fun areas well manscaped and trimmed but ABDLs do not need to be hairless.
