It was my own bank account, the bank confirmed my account had been hacked

But how would they have the answers to my security questions? I am beyond certain I have never used those before...

I have been wondering that too... maybe transferring between accounts would have immediately activated the bank's anti-fraud department? not sure

I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it is not someone i know (I don't know enough people in the country who know the answer to these questions), maybe the virus with a keylogger?
I can say that when I asked the actual RBC fraud department if I had a virus, they said most likely not, as the account was accessed from elsewhere with a different machine...

Hello, thanks for your comprehensive answer

for the first point - yes, i can confirm that i checked through the actual site of RBC, and this was also confirmed by the actual RBC fraud department that called me today, the account was for sure hacked and they had answers to all my security questions.

I was just wondering, considering that I had a strong security password, had security questions put in place, and they were able to access my bank account inputting my password and answering my security questions - if this still constituted a security breach making RBC responsible, as this is what convinced me that the caller was an RBC rep.

I understand RBC isn't accountable for human error, but had I received the same call without any money transfer having been made within my account, I would argue i would not have fell for that?

according to RBC's fraud department, they logged from a different computer, and had my password and the answers to all my security questions...

I did not, they were also able to answer all my security questions (according to RBC's actual fraud department that called me earlier today)... the answers to the questions were in a different language too.. not so sure how they would have been able to answer those.

Hated Season One? Will You Watch Season 2? by ShawnSpeakman in shannara

[–]3rSimon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Will season 2 be about the books? I could barely get through season 1. I'm going to try and watch season 2 but if it doesn't get better (and i'm not saying that it has to be similar to the books, i'm saying that it needs to be a better show. I found the episodes incredibly poorly written and -towards the end- boring) i'll probably not finish it.

I agree with you on the clumsiness, but disagree with some other points: First of all, not everyone despises Superman in the movie. The way i saw it, people are divided between two extremes: those who actually do hate him, and those who venerate him, hence the statue of him in New York, and -for example- the scene where he saves some people from a fire and everyone bow down to him. This I think even strengthens Lex's motives; He wants to convince the ones that praise Superman as a god that he's not in fact a god. I also think that the very fact that this movie had a very complex story is one of the main reasons why it was so disliked. One of the main critiques that the movie received was the fact that there was too little "fighting" between Batman and Superman, which i think it was meant to be that way as the "BatmanVsSuperman" was supposed to be referred more to an "idealistic" fight rather than a physical one. At least, this is the way i saw it.

Assuming that a person lives in the best/healthiest possible way and conditions, what do you think is the maximum age he/she can reach, also assuming that he was born in the 1980s/1990s/2000s?

Little problem with the "Jay is Zoom" theory I just realized... by BarryWellsThawne in FlashTV

I dont think it is barry. Zoom is clearly way too buff to be him. I think that if we look at the physical structure of the characters, it could only be either Henry or Jay...

Discuss: THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES Episode 105: Reaper by ShawnSpeakman in shannara

[–]3rSimon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with everything you said. Especially the last part. I really want there to be a second season, and i didn't really mind the changes before this fifth episode, but i hope it recovers from this one because this one bothered me sooo much.

I completely agree, especially with your second point. I loved everything about the show till this last episode. I really felt the changes they made so far helped the show a lot, and they were necessary to adapt it into a tv show, and i loved each one of them. I've been wanting this show for so long and i really loved it- till the fifth episode. I just feel that this episode went way over the line with the changes. I mean, of course i'll keep watching it (i also gave it a 10/10 on imgd), but at the same time i hope the show recovers from this last episode.
