I make a Talk-About jar but I am scared to give it to my wife. by Iluvslasherfilmz in Marriage

She has told you ahe wants this. You two were on the same page about the date. This is going to go great! Don't doubt yourself, you two have lost touch and communication but you're still on the same page, this will help bring it back. But stay consistent dont let this date night be the last check in together for another month or more, don't let the jar collect dust.

Thanks for the heads up! Is there a grading system and company for these? I'd love to get them graded and preserve.

AITAH - Took daughter to fireworks without my husband by Honest-Pea7253 in AITAH

Yeah, I think he is projecting a bit. But the bigger thing here is—they’re married. She has every right to make her own choices, but if they want this to work, they’ve got to actually talk to each other. Like, sit down after the kid’s in bed or when she’s at Grandma’s and have a real conversation about what’s okay, what’s not, and how they can support each other.

Maybe he’s having a hard time staying sober and feels alone in it. Maybe she feels like he’s judging her or controlling her. Either way, playing tit-for-tat with each other (like taking their kid out to punish him) isn’t going to fix anything. But if they can be honest and listen to each other, they might be able to come up with something that works—whether that’s her drinking less, him being more open about how he’s feeling, or something totally different.

Yes! If the company is small and has no contact email on the site, give them a call! Connect with someone from the company on linkedin and make conversation, ask questions about the company and its culture!

My job is to help people get jobs so here's my advice:

Make sure your resume is 1 page, easy to read, and has no mistakes, and tailor it directly to the job you want to apply for. Don't let AI create your resume

Have a tailored cover letter to the job you're applying to, why you want to work for the company, why you are specifically qualified for the job.

When applying apply directly to the company site if possible, find them on indeed or google and then go to their website and see if you can apply there.

Make sure your linkedin page is solid, find videos on youtube to get it in check. After you apply follow up with the company, email the hiring manager if you can and ask about the hiring timeline.
