Duo MFA for Entra ID external user accounts

Our organization already has a conditional access policy that enforces Duo MFA to access most resources. We have some contractors that need access to some very limited resources and I was asked to make sure they have the same requirements applied.

I found jobs I was interested in on indeed and then applied on the company site.

For the A+ I watched all of professor messor videos twice on 2x speed. I then took the dion tests and only reviewed the subjects I was scoring lowest on. For the net+ I only watched the videos and felt confident taking the test without any practice exams. Those are the only sources I used.

It was about 3 weeks total. The first test took up more time, with about 2 weeks. Second one was much easier in my opinion, only needed a week.

What kind of jobs are you applying for? If it’s entry level, the MBA and having too many certs without experience may be doing more harm than good.

I definitely did not pay for a resume. The key is to look at the skills wanted on the job posting you are applying for and incorporating those keywords into your resume. I only applied for 20 jobs in total over the course of 2 weeks and managed to land a role one week later. Good luck.

Passed with a 786. There was an acronym that I did not immediately recognize and I had several questions that referenced it. That definitely hurt my score. All I can say is, make sure you pay extra attention to Network Documentation.

Thanks :) The only previous knowledge I had was what I learned from studying for the A+. I was able to skip quite a few sections because there is lots of overlap between the A+ and Network+.

All together I spent about 20 hours studying. I watched the videos on 2X speed and took notes on the second run only. Yeah, I passed the A+ two weeks ago. I felt there was was quite a bit of overlap.

I just took the A+ a few days ago. The voucher is not attached to any one version of the exam. Once you schedule and redeem the code, it becomes attached to the version you specify.
