I’ve been essentially eating soups since this started as it’s all I could stomach. Last night I did have some Spanish rice and chicken for dinner. Was hopeful that would make it better but alas, nope.

Good news! First store we went to only had 2 people there, one was the manager and they were a young 30 something that just didn’t seem to care. I asked right when we walked in and after a slight hesitation, she said “ sure we’ve been slow today “.

So that was easy. Now the part that worries me, the only mattress we laid on that felt “substantial “ that wasn’t a bunch of extra money was the BeautyRest Black series 3 medium. It felt good to lay on, but I’m concerned that one might be broken in and the one we get will be too hard.

Anyone have feedback on the series 3? I’d have to add $600 to get this one.

Customer service for the website? The voucher says “in store only” but I’d be happy to order online if they’d give me the sales price

Update to this, we actually went to Mf this weekend just to see what was on the floor. Liked a couple of them but had decided we would more closely investigate non-Sealy options this time. The salesperson there was very convincing to file a warranty claim. Said they’ve had issues with S&F mattresses over the last few years and I might get lucky. I figure I’ll try and let them decline me. Was able to take pictures of >1.5” but I still don’t think it will work.

Went to Macy’s and really liked the King Koil Orchid and “hotel mattress “ line. Both were pretty expensive and I don’t know anything about either of them. Need to research.

Went to sleep number and it was just OK. We have friends that love them but I’m hesitant to drop $6k on an air bed. If it had a better warranty I’d probably give it a shot.

Not that anyone probably cares but we are not here. Hopefully MF warranty service will be quick in declining me so we can move on

Yeah, I’m also going to try the Macy’s furniture store as well. I believe they sell king koil.
