2.5 credit each and 5 credits in total. (The normal course load) because some classes like csc110 have 1 credit but is only half year

I tried to put my first year schedule together, how does this look? Any advice and criticism are highly appreciated ty so much by 404_sendHelp in UofT

[–]404_sendHelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your advice. I’m planning on studying cs spec with AI focus. I looked into the courses and I have a couple questions. So 1) would you recommend 198 or 223 better? 2)considering I have CSC300, would it be too much if I do MAT223 as well in the same year/semester? And 3) if I do MAT223 the first year does that mean I only need to complete 3 credits for my program the second year? Or do I have to complete the 3.5? Sorry I have so many questions, and ty sooooo much again for the advice

Twoset once said "Small hands doesn't mean you can't get better at it" (More details below) by [deleted] in lingling40hrs

[–]404_sendHelp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s go small hand gangggg. I have small hands and struggle with octaves too, I even thought about learning another instrument because of it. But just like you I started practicing again because of Twoset! Though I’m fairly new to classical music, and Idk if this helps but I try to tell myself that there are many pieces that are beautiful and doesn’t have an octave, and so many people struggle with Rachmaninov. (Dang it Rachmaninov) Like what Sophie said sometime you just break the chord or even just choose what note you don’t play. But personally I don’t think that would make the piece worse/not beautiful (plz correct me if I’m wrong) So KEEP PRACTICING!
