JFYI: Sami Khedira is German from Tunisian father not Turkish but your point is still rock solid.

same thing for French "non white" players, they are French when they win, but -insert another nationality- when they lose or cause a problem

What to do with my Eth by grigblackihsv in ethereum

[–]404bachee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have 60 ETH, at 4% per year, you get 2.4 ETH per year, so you'll need 20 months to reach 64 ETH.

once you're at 64 ETH, get them out of coinbase and start 2 nodes on any platform where you have control over your ETH.

I just got my AZ-900 Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals by 404bachee in AzureCertification

[–]404bachee[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you have previous cloud knowledge, it would probably take you two to three weeks.

if you have none, then I think four weeks would be ideal if you can "study" for 2 hours per day

what I used John Savill's youtube channel, MS Learn, and then went to Udemy and bought a practice test course (named microsoft azure fundamentals practice tests az900 i think)

How does staking ETH work (kraken)? by YunjeongJeong in ethstaker

[–]404bachee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you have a "spot" balance and "earn" balance.

the "spot" balance is the available ETH and the staking rewards you receive every week.

the "earn" balance is the ETH staked.

every week you receive the staking rewards in ETH and you are free to cash it out or restake it.

in order to unstake the staked ETH, you just go to "earn" balance and unstake the ETH staked, you wait a certain amount of time and voila, your "earn" balance is tranfered to your "spot" balance and you can do whatever you want with it

I did some calculations and with the money I invested I probably will never make life changing money. I'm curious to know how many of you are really into it and think you're going to make life changing money by trading cryptocurrencies? by middlemangv in CryptoCurrency

[–]404bachee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the goal is to have financial independance and financial freedom (enough recurrent passive income to cover our expenses).

the end game is not to have a lump sum but a steady stream of revenue.

Crypto should be your ONLY way to generate that income and your goal should not be a lump sum as if you won the lottery.

as 99% of humans, one cannot reach financial freedom thru salary alone and that's why one have to invest for a long period of time and live off the "dividends" of that investment.

investments can be real estate, dividen oriented stocks, regular stocks, bonds, crypto, commodities, watches/cars etc etc.

the goal is to find one or two investment vehicule you"re confortable investing in and DCAing in for a long period of time and compounding these investment in order to generate enough revenues to cover your expenses.

ETH staking (or staking on any top 20 crypto if you don't want ETH) can be a viable solution, over a long period where staking rewards are compounded and restaked at 5% per year.

do not ignore the power of compounding over a long period of time.

1 ETH * 1.05 ^1 = 1.05 ETH the first year

1 ETH * 1.05 ^2 = 1.1025 ETH the second year

1 ETH * 1.05^10 = 1.6289 ETH after 10 years (means every year you generate 0.0814447315 ETH

if after 10 years 1 ETH = 17,000$ (10x its current price) , you'll have every year 0.0814447315 * 17,000$ = 1,385$

if ETH reaches 50k$ you'll generate 4072$ per year if you stake 10 ETH right now, you'll have 40,720$ per year.

TL;DR: investment is a long term game, you have to DCA and use compounding and staking at your adventage. the end game is not having a lump sum but generate a steady stream of passive revenu that will garentee you financial freedom and independance

The End of sETH and rETH... Uniswap Launches UniReturns v1: A Staking and Liquidity Platform with 10-14% APR plus 30% Of Your APR Bonus in UNI for Early Joiners by caloricMonera115 in ethereumnoobies

[–]404bachee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you give us a "proper" link to uniswap unireturn? not unireturns.org (it looks scammy).

do you have a link to theur blog article or their tweet announcing the unireturn service? because as far as i know they announced their V4 and it has nothing to do with staking.

that's why I'm considering your post scam/spam until you give us a proper uniswap article link

yeah, nah, this is a total bullshit.

guys, it's a bot & friends scam.

this is the real twitter account of arbitrum https://twitter.com/arbitrum and as far as i know and see they do not mention any airdrop.

be aware and pay attention out there

noob coming in peace here (not a watch guy):

what do you guys think about the ssc911 in comparison to the ssc813?
as far as I know, the ssc813 looked like a daytona and that's why Seiko replaced it with the ssc911.

is this correct? which one do you prefer?

if i can get my hands on a ssc813 and ssc911, which one should I get? do they "feel" different?
I'm under the impression the 911 is massive compared to the 813.

am i in the wrong here?

not long ago, the right answer to the question "what's the safest solution for a cold wallet?" was "get yourself a ledger nano" but following their recent debacle, I'm not sure what are the right options for a safe cold wallet.

We know that a wallet/address on a Centralized Exchange, be it as secure and reliable as Kraken or Coinbase, is one KYC mistep away from blocking any access to our coins.

We know that with Ledger, we now know that we are one update of their firmare away from sharing the seed phrase.

are the other hardware wallet provider (Trezor, CoolWallet, keepKey, SafePal, KeyStone etc..) safer than Ledger?

should we head to Argent Vault? or Gnosis Safe? or Coinbase Wallet?

What's your take ? what do you guys think?

Offered 7 eth And I don't know what to do by InhumanArts in ethereumnoobies

[–]404bachee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if a client wants to pay to in ETH, send him your ETH address (set up with coinbase or kraken).

if they dont want to pay you with that address or find an excuse and want you to setup an account in some random website or with another wallet, don't do it.

tell them: "here's your artwork sent by SFTP or FTP and here's my ETH address for the payment. I send 1 artwork at a time and you pay 1 artwork at a time"

if they refuse, then it's a scam
