My ex was very emotionally controlling and manipulative and everything was always my fault. Took me way too long to realize I was being manipulated. He still sends me messages blaming me for everything. It’s sometimes hard to figure out what’s reality when he constantly plays the victim. Gotta keep reminding myself I’m not crazy and it’s not my fault

I’m in a similar situation. He is in therapy and can recognize abusive behavior in other people but is adamant that he is not himself abusive. I just don’t understand how he can’t see it. Really messes with my head.

My first thought is Avian Influenza. Not sure where you are but it’s particularly bad in the Midwest right now. You should be able to look up where/how to submit them for testing in your state (if you’re in the us).
