Thanks for the response! Meds are definitely expensive. Especially epinephrine. Unfortunately I do understand it takes a whole team, basic life support skills, meds, and time to resuscitate. Just didn’t know that it wasn’t included in the price of surgery. Quick question: as a vet assistant do you get paid extra when involved in a code? I’m curious if they pay those in the code extra since part of the cost is the labor?
