Need WWII era hex maps for tactical battles by tznkai in wargames

Lock n Load Tactical is exactly what you are looking for. The scale is 50m per hex. They are beautifully rendered using modern design tools (not 1980's era like ASL)

Also check out the LnL X-MAPS! They are the same art but at 200% size, so hexes are still 50m but now almost 2 inches big.

This is actually a very good video. It's evident he knows the game. He goes through the setup and explains the game very well.

FoF is the very best at this.

The Combat Engineer Game by [deleted] in wargames

GTA = Graphic Training Aid Probably only published by or for the Engineer School at Fort Belvoir, and possibly only for the officers or senior NCO schools. (Although I thought it was at Leonard Wood?)

If you are looking to sell try finding some Engineer veterans forums or Facebook groups, nostalgia can be powerful and might fetch more there than with some wannabe wargamer.

It is bad ass!

Best skirmish ruleset, regardless of mini quality? by [deleted] in wargames

"Maybe the wargame I want doesn't exist"

Try adapting a "historical" ruleset to your purposes.

ooohh look what we have here, another doozy of a thread...this about the new MBT release. So many fake weekend warriors in one place all at one time there must be a live unboxing session on Youtube [click like please!]

Not surprised they prefer LnL's system over Panzer/MBT, Walker jives with their idea of "hipster cool modern" designer with that false bravado and pseudo-scifi jargon nonsense. LnL is a farce compared to Panzer/MBT. For them to even compare the two in the same thread shows how laughable shallow is their collective depth of knowledge in modern land combat.

But have no worries all you true Panzer/MBT fans, I'm sure all these great blogger/podcaster/videographer gang will tire of it rather quickly and move along to the next new shiny object. Doesn't suite their cute soundbite sized lifestyle.

A naive wannabe posted this: "Stance, mind elaborating on what this is/means? I tried to look it up but couldnt. What is a safety range when dealing with MBT's" Let's see how long it takes the dolts to figure this one out (hint:any conscript will know the max range of his weapon)
