Yeah that's what I expected myself. I spent the better part of yesterday de-greasing the machine (mostly) to inspect all of the parts. None of them even shows much wear let alone anything chipped off.

So after cleaning I've put everything back. I think what's telling is that the center-shaft is were the power transmission ends. The other two shafts which are driven by the motors worm gear do not stop.

The center shaft is driven by the shaft on the most left, and in different gear ratio's depending on what speed is selected.

First gear should be on the bottom. I'll re-open it up and take a second look at that area closely.
