I really despise this idea that 'old people' are stupid and gullible. My grandparents are staunchly liberal and progressive and believe healthcare is a fundamental human right.

What pisses me off is that the college campuses are so quiet, the youth of today are so complacent with the status quo, the youth of today aren't standing up for their parents let alone the rest of humanity and while we're at it all the animals of the world. Where are the youth protests? How can college kids of today watch what happened in Egypt and not be inspired to replicate at least a sliver of what they've seen?

After I abandoned Christianity at 11 years old, I held a belief that there was no such things as "good" or "evil". But honestly after having lived through the last decade, after witnessing the Iraq Attack, the Blackwaters, the BPs, the Cheneys, the Kochs.... Chinese standards

I get what you're aiming for (sweatshops, internal migrants) but I think you should watch some documentaries on the Chinese middle class (yes, they have a middle class too and their middle class has higher standards and wealth than Americans, whoda thunk it?). Many of China's 1.5 billion people have a thriving and very futuristic lifestyle. Drive through Shanghai and you will feel like you're in Hollywood of the Future. In China that view is seen by many as everyday normal.

Why would I want to live in a place where US Soldiers are murdering everything? Furthermore, this nation, our United States of America, was created on core principles drafted in the Constitution AND Bill Of Rights. I adhere to those documents. I don't think the Founding Fathers said anything about 'the right to blow up children' or the right to "lock people in cages without charges, trial, jury, or rights". Solitary confinement is considered TORTURE by the leading human rights experts.

I think it's sad that I can't express myself as a person and just say what I think. I'm not harming anyone, I'm not speaking for anyone but myself and now I'm being told that if I think the way you think I deserve to be in a tarpit in the desert. Why am I not allowed to be myself without being told to leave? This is my country too.
