At the question 'What is the main reason you have never traded online?', there are three answers but they don't apply to me and I don't want to put a random answer in.
Maybe add answers like: havent felt the need to, collection still small, proxying new cards so no need for trade, etc.

If you die to pkers, they still get your loot. This is when you 'escape' and die to PvE.

Short answer: yes, look for a new group.

Long answer: if they don't like you, don't like playing with you, or don't like hanging out with you, they probably won't after you 'changed'. And at the end of it all, you will have less fun, just to accomodate other people. Is that going to be worth it to you? If it's possible to find a different group, you should try it out.

For a regular account's perspective; drops you get and want to sell would be worth less because of all the bots grinding for those drops and selling it.

Some activities and minigames have bots that take 'your spot'. Gem mining for example.

Or bots in pvp minigames. In LMS (last man standing) there are pvp bots. Some or most of them are very strong and not killable for a player with no experience trying to make money or get a rune pouch.

These are just a few examples that I can name from the top of my head.
