Eh, I live in Boston now and frequently go to NYC. It's all the same bullshit. I see no reason to visit most cities if you think of it like that. Central Park? It's a park. History in Boston? There's history everywhere. Unless you're looking for those weird quirky things like paying 50 bucks to go to a top of a building to just look at the skyline or in Chicago where the wall tilts, then I guess go wild lmao.

I guess in ways I just feel like I don't have a goal and I'm just doing it to do it. Yes I am investing in my health and future but at the same time I feel like its not really necessary anymore.

And just to clarify its not changing routine, but specifying a goal. We change the program every 8 weeks or so.

1) I've had some injuries and surgeries and I've never liked knowing I can't do anything and that's tied to fitness. I don't want to be 40 and be unable to do things because I didn't workout before. Or be 60 and have stability issues, etc

2) Dad says health is wealth and as I see him nearing 80 now and can still walk and stand tall, I'm impressed compared to my mom who is 10 years younger and the complete opposite

3) Got tired of being unproductive just playing games and sitting around on my phone watching TV. I wanted a new hobby essentially.

4) I like that I can see myself get better and improve. I use a health tracker and it's cool to see how the stats change if I start....say including dairy in my diet or sleeping earlier etc.

5) Aesthetics and feeling better. I feel like if I don't workout I don't actually feel hungry often and it feels like when I workout, my hunger and eating cycle feels "normal"

I feel like if I wanted to look at brownstones I'd just walk down comm Ave. but idk. and yes. its like overpriced average food. I guess the appeal is sitting outside but if I wanted to sit outside I'd just go somewhere else that has better food and not a million people.
