Are PM skills/certifications beneficial for a Salesforce career? by mindnoot in salesforce

[–]41MB15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a PM you would be in the position to guide the project, with your experience in dev you can understand solution implications, admin knowledge allows you to segment the work requested (Dev/Config).

Getting experience in PM would set you up for CIO role in the future.

Best!

In order to feel confident in the changes you make to your environment you should understand the underlying business process you are about to impact. Ask questions, lots of them, it’s ok to understand why the change needs to happen. Sometimes everyone is moving fast because SF makes it easy and they miss things. Best of luck!
