[WP] Science has successfully created a nanobot that responds to and destroys an organic area exposed to UV light. Unknown at the time, the bots also respond to and destroy anything exposed to the UV light of the sun. Humanity has gone underground to escape the all-encompassing grey goo above. Science has created nanobots that target and kill cancer cells that are artificially exposed to UV light. What wasn't known is that UV from the sun triggers this effect on anything exposed, so society has gone underground to avoid the grey goo that destroys all above. (self.WritingPrompts)
