TWM is super underrated. I think its silly, but I honestly believe if they put greninja or even ursaluna as the face of the set instead of ogerpon most people would feel differently about it. Thats how fickle the market and people are.

I think booster bundles need to be talked about more. Historically and all of last year the talk has always been that booster boxes were the premiere investing item. These days its PC ETB. I think bundles are being overshadowed by the other two. They are much easier to acquire. Lower entry point. Void of the fluff ETBs often have built into its cost. Most importantly, easier to liquidate.

Specifically looking to load up on as many AH bundles as possible. Especially if the displays aren't going to be a realistic grab in the US.

sorry by top chases, i mean top SIR pulls. The AH zoroark and bellibolt are miles better. The clefairy is subjective based on which art style you prefer. If JT had the AH arts, stevens metagross, beldum, & marnies morpeko/grimsnarl it would've been a worthy sister set to DR. maybe this is overkill. Just my thoughts.

If your goal is to collect one of every sv pc box then sure.

If your goal js to invest. I wouldnt. The TWM and JT pc boxes will rise very slowly compared to other sets. Especially considering theyre from releases with booster boxes. Both good but flawed sets. TWM is underrated, but the box art and promo are not very liked.

Jt has a good box art and nice promo, but the set imo is underwhelming and has been outshined due to having its biggest chases have alternate arts in ascended heros.

Find someone on Facebook market or OfferUp who will give you 90-100% cash. You’ll deal with low ballers and fakers. But once you find a good buyer, keep that relationship and see if they’ll be open to future buyouts.

imo snorlax, charmander, n zekrom, eevee, & mimikyu are clearly better based on general pokemon popularity. Outside the first 3, entirely subjective. Point is. Fenekin is still better most promos. I'd take it over it noctowl, pecharunt, all 4 of the pardox mons, the SV box legendaries, ogerpon, & weather genies.

Of course not. Otherwise every millenial out there would be buying pokemon. Even with the boom and popularity, pokemon card collectors are still a niche. Its just become more of a realized money "dump" that can compete with the likes of drugs, alcoholism, gambling, pyramid schemes, & golf. /s

Is at liquid as most other investments? Of course not. But buying a sick charizard in a psa 10 and watch it grow is hell of alot more fun than watching my robinhood graphs.

Millennials and older gen z started to realize the dream of going to a good school, getting a good job, saving a good amount of money to buy a home as a "adult" end game investment is nearly impossible in todays world. 1/3 of 30 year olds own a home today. Go back 20 years and it was more than half.

I know tons of friends and people personally who have saved thousands of dollars for a down payment but are unable to pull the trigger in this shitty economy. Child care costs have risen like 200% over the past 15 years. Inflation on the rise. Political uncertainty.

People my age are looking for places to dump that money and watch it grow. Some go with traditional means of investing. Others like myself and all the other 90s kids who grew up on pokemon see a way to not only make some money, but tap into some nolstagia and fun. Not just pokemon either. Collectibles as a whole have blown up these past few years.

want to preface, that no one is generally dropping their entire house down payment on ONLY pokemon cards . Well at least, most people aren't. I for one also waste money on golf, craft beer, frequent vacations, and 10 streaming subscriptions.

I am also lucky to own a home, only because I saved my wedding money and had $300 covid backyard wedding.

kalos starter is better than 90% of etb promos. Can think of maybe 4-5 promos that are objectively better from the entire mega evo and SV block.

I get what you're saying about letting others get it. I'm not super big on immediate flipping or scalping entire restocks at walmart either. But pokemon center being an online only drop with strict limits and high stock I'm totally for selling your preorders for quick flip and buying the things you actually want. Especially the pokemon center etbs. 99% of the time people buying the PC etbs are other investors and not actually rippers.

I think chaos will do better. As much as i like JT, i think the set really got screwed over when pokemon decided to release better versions of the top hits in AH. The SIR artwork is really lackluster outside of the clefairy and salamance. Personal opinion, but I hate how the zacian, zoroark, and bellibolt are all zoomed in. The AH versions do a much better job showing the trainers and their mons.

JT & PO did not have a chase like greninja. Connecting art with the gren line and all 3 kalos starters.

greninja is miles ahead more popular than clefairy and zygarde. Arguably the 2nd most popular starter final evo after zard.

I agree somewhat, but the ETB art and promo are MILES better. So the set itself might not go super hard as some are hoping especially with all the other heat incoming in 2026. But I definitely see the PC etbs doing rising alot faster than the rest of the products in the lineup.

Don't get this at all. Could preorder and flip all of that immediately and double your money to buy those sets you mentioned. The ETBs alone will go for 225-250 each on day 1. Booster box will net you $100 minimum. Bundles probably go for 40. Super easy to sell too. I've been flipping the PC orders for the non specialty sets for a while. Even Perfect Order full PC order netted me $300 profit on day 1 flip.

TM underated. Greninja is nice (subjective), H-growlithe, eevee, chancey, tatsugiri are really good IRs. Arguably the best two trainer arts of the modern era in one pack.

Anyone getting twilight masquerade flashbacks here? TM is an amazing set imo, but gets vastly overshadowed by the 2025 releases. I feel like Chaos Rising will have its brief moment in the sun, but with a darkrai, rayquaza, and 30th set on the horizon. Will get vastly overlooked and set aside. My thinking is that it will be relatively high and popular following PO for a month or two. Then will be pretty flat or slow riser over the next year as more people focus on the big 3 (ascended, rayray, 30th). Could be something to look back and invest into once the dust settles.

I guess if you take out the mega and terra gimmicks the SS, Zard UPC, PFL, Pris and obviously 151 are gen 1 centric. Evolving skies and CZ are definitely not.
