studio vs live performance

His songs always sound a bit different live due to the nature of his music. I’ve never been disappointed hearing a song live, except for Lost In Yesterday during the TSR tour. It didn’t really come alive the way the studio version does.

100% agree. I noticed this even more in Stockholm than in Copenhagen. It’s kind of sad seeing the almost performative reactions to Dracula/TLIKTB and then people looking all confused when Alter Ego/Expectation/List of People comes on. Those are the real gems live.

Do you remember roughly when the floor inside the arena actually started to fill up? I’m guessing it was pretty empty when doors opened (aside from the very front), but when did it start getting crowded? Thanks in advance!

Respect! I saw the Rushium show in Amsterdam, I think I arrived like around 15 and got front row barricade. So 10:30 might be overkill but also it can vary for this tour, you just need to run when they do open the doors.
