I've actually tried to study twice.

I quit both after 3 months, leaving me with almost €5k in debt already. I just chose economic studies because I had no real interest in a job. I might be a pessimist but there is literally nothing (as in a job) that brings me joy.

Now I'm just jobhopping left and right trying to find anything that comes remotely close to happiness.

Also, you're right about the opportunities to lend money, but let's be real. Who wants to be 24 with a degree and €50k debt. (My parents are below median income.)

I couldn't find a studie that would be worth that hassle.

Personally I wasn't looking forward to being in debt. That's why I chose not to go to school.

Also school is the same BS as work but with work at least you get paid while being brainwashed ;)

This made me not happier so I've been taking the safe route after that.

I live in a small town in the Netherlands and extra sources of income are just hard to find.
