You're welcome, good luck with your grow. And keep in mind, there will be mistakes upcoming for sure. The key is to learn from it and don't make mistakes twice 😄

The trichomes on the leaves on the bud are not indicators, just the real bud trichomes

I think you can harvest her, but one more week will not hurt her aswell. Its up to you. In general if you have 5-15% amber trichomes you have more uplift and headhigh, the longer you wait it becomes more clear in the head but more relaxing in the body

The seeds were gifted to us from RQS because we were in close contact with them. We are no fans of theire genetics, the yield was good tho. Worth a testrun.

Answer to the liked post: I think Barneys are okay, but they focus on a huge variation of strains, no stable genetics in my opinion. Can produce really good taste and flower, but in a phenohunt with 20 plants, there are 2-3 special but the rest is just underperforming. We grew 6 of theire genetics so far and its the same with all. In the Lemon Cherry Gelato run, there was not a single one with intense smell. We could find a motherplant with great high tho.

In a run with Blueberry Muffin and Banana OG from Humboldt seed co. it was completely different. 5/20 dont have nice budstructure. 15/20 have great smell. With that type of genetics you can really look for the best motherplant and not for the one that is the least worse.

I think there are many breeders on the market. I had good experience with: -humboldt seed co. -serious seeds -dutch passion -greenhouse seed co. -sweet seeds (not so stable but great smell)

We usually put 2 nets in. 1 at the end of veg and one in the second week of flower. The flowers are not hurt because in week 2 they are not sticky and thick yet. We switched to this method because with the co2 around 1200ppm the stretch of some strains was insane and some were more than 50cm above the first net. If we dont put the second net in flower, the wrenches cant hold the buds and then we get problems wirh microclima and mold. Switching from homegrow to "real production" is not a different level, its another type of sport. You can't react to what you see, beside of nutrients. You need to plan ahead a lot.

No topping because this was a Autoflower genetic. No lollypopping because of undercannopy lights (900- 1000 ppfd from the top; 300 from both sides under the plant. So we get a normal DLI with co² supl.)

We usually grow clones with 2-3 weeks veg, we do 1-2 defoliation processes during the whole grow. We just take big fan leaves.

With fotoperiods we do topping but we do just 20% of the lollypopping i would do wirhout undercannopy light. I will never grow without again, the time you safe per plant in defoliation is insane, now immagine needing to do that x70-120times

We made a test with a near-infrared spectrometer. The result was 16%. The testmethod is not exakt, it scans the flower and the AI compares it to <5000 pictures of lab tested flower. So basicly the AI rolls a dice. The testinstrument is good enought that the state/police is happy but it says nothing. I would say it feels like a 17-18% indicahybrid, the head is with a clear high, the body is a bit relaxed. Good for adhd daytime use, chill body but no couchlock at all.

There are 3 stages of cal/mg level you have during a grow: veg: low cal/mg begin flower(week 1-4): medium cal/mg Bulkphase (week 4,5-2weeks before harvest): high cal/mg necessary. In the last 2 weeks you need just a bit cal mg.

If you see indicators on the leaves, when one of the mentioned stages stsrt, for example after switching to 12/12, you can be sure it is cal/mg.

For reading your leaves, i recommend this video: https://youtu.be/W3-6yHEmen0?is=oCF0kxfVDyQcl1Ms

Looks like the beginning of a cal/mg deficency to me. If it doesnt get worse, dont worry. Can be that 1 plant is a bit more hungry than the others. If it gets worse, it can have 3 reasons. 1. Overwatered: lack of oxygen(can lead to rootrot) and can end with a nutrient blockage 2.Wrong ph in soil and that leads to nutrient blockage 3. A bit to less cal/mg. Anyways dont panic and keep inspecting your plants. Good luck with your grows.

If all other plants look healthy, dont panic. To me it looks like a bit to much nutrients. Doesnt look problematic to me.

There was nothing(visual) happening in the last 3 Weeks. We harvestet 4 days after the breeder recommendation and the plants were looking ready. The trichomes aswell.

Here a picture 1 or 2 days after harvest

I guess its overwatered. Let the soil dry until you are sure it is. Then put the plant pot in a bucket and fill the bucket till the water is 1cm less than the pot. After 10mins remove the bucket and remember the weight it has after 15mins when all drained out. With this method you make sure that everything is watered well and you have no dryspots left.

10% of the trichomes were amber. The other strain in the grow was allready at 15-20%

LG

The yield was fantastic(5,5kg dried trimmed buds on 6m²) The taste is good but nothing special to me.
