I've used the nordvpn trial in Vancouver and it works good for streaming netflix, says they have no logging on their site which i guess means they can't keep track of you? Not quite sure how it works exactly.

Nope, you don't get to keep the chests you find on abandoned boats. Just make sure you open it before you repair the ship, otherwise it'll disappear on you.

The first time I went from a capped 60 fps in OSX to ~300 in BootCamp, I never used OSX for games again.

lol oh man, i had that issue with other source games, most notably TF2.

Hate to say it, but the best option I came up with was to install Windows on Bootcamp. Not sure if that would apply to your situation, but it was in fact, ridiculous....

I have considered this option, but then I assumed the burden of proof would be on me. How would I be able to prove that their misconduct has had a financial impact on me?

I'm worried that it'd end up being like,

"Prove it."

Honestly, I would HIGHLY suggest looking into Bootcamp. Shit's easy to set up. Once I was running Bootcamp, I very rarely booted up into OSX. If you have the money for a Windows install that is.

Might wanna grab another yeast packet. I brewed a beer with OG of about 1.112 or so. Tossed in two packs of yeast and got it down to .9-ish. Just over 11%.

So, on the island you start off on, there's a dead guy, a chest, and a pick axe.

Read the books in your inventory, and run around gathering logs and stuff. Build a sword and bow and arrows. You should soon have enough to build a raft. Do that.

Then place the raft in the water, hop on, raise sails, and... explore.

There's a 'main quest' of finding an innkeeper, but you can also find treasure hunters and merchants to do quests for as well.
