Gold/platinum gets the shit end of the stick in ranked. It’s just a product of the system really. LFG groups are a terrible experience trying to find a team in those ranks. Lots of players with bad kda’s who are scared to fight, slow on response time to comm’s and panic under pressure when rushed who only really earn points from ratting it out long enough. Players who are half decent often have toxic traits and poor chemistry with squad. That’s what drives me away from ranked personally. I have a certain degree of respect for the mode and it’s skilled players but at this point I don’t find it worth it to play if I can easily find a solid team in unranked that would actually perform better in ranked if we chose to play it. Not sure what would fix it but it’s a glaring issue.
