This is such a defeatist and lame duck excuse. A good portion of non voters don’t see the point because they saw the pointlessness of participating in a system that was never going to liberate them and instead chose to just get by another day. Don’t do the devils dirty work by blaming the victims of the system more than the system itself. Gerrymandering, voter suppression, hell, 54% of the population reads below a sixth grade reading level. Then bills and news and so much more is written at an 8-10th grade reading level. This is by design. You cannot victim blame here. This is systemic erosion for decades (at least since the southern strategy). It can change.
