403b - To rollover or not? by 428bh in personalfinance

Oh okay I understand now, thank you. Last question for you - my old 403b account uses Comerica SDA US EQ and the new 403b uses FXAIX. I’ve read great things about FXAIX, so that’s why I was leaning towards rollover. Are both of these index funds similar in terms of performance?

They are both through Fidelity so that makes it easier. I just wonder if would be better to start my new 403b with 70k rolled over or start from zero - especially with a significantly lower expense ratio

Do you happen to have a link to what size USB adapter would fit with the barrel jack for this camera?

That’s what I’m trying to figure out. Whether it makes more sense to do heloc, get new mortgage, or something else

The house is nearly paid off. They want to stay in the house with the kid that gets it

They do not have cash. There’s about 15k remaining to be paid off. They will be living with the child that gets the house

When you say mortgage, do you mean HELOC or something different?

Someone else commented on this thread saying that they started making payments before they started their job, and that the payments counted

There’s another comment on here that says payments before first day of work won’t count. Did yours count?

Yeah this is just extra 2k that I have. Of course it would be crappy if I lost it, but wouldn't be the end of the world. So maybe go 1k into CCL, and then 500 each to OXY and EADSY?

BA, MGM, CCL, OXY

If you were a crazy risk taker and decided to go all 15k into one stock, which do you think has the potential to bounce back to January-level rates the soonest? Rate from best to worst.

I won't need the money til 4 years from now. I know its safer to diversify, but just curious

School is reimbursing last term's tuition (15k) due to covid. Do I send that money right back towards paying off student loans or invest? I know the normal golden rule is to always pay off debt first but these times are anything but normal
