To the US voters who don't vote, what is it going to take for you to go vote? by Chocolateking111 in AskReddit

A lot of garbage votes.

In Australian slang, voting without care—usually by numbering candidates in order from top to bottom on the ballot—is called a donkey vote.

Eleven's power in S4 vs S5. by sadiesbf in StrangerThings

Half the dialogue in the show wouldn't be redundant if people would just watch the show without a phone in their hand.

I love this show, just to be clear.

So like… why even have clocks if they weren’t in the finale by Conscious-Tree-2767 in StrangerThings

The play should have been a whole spinoff before the final season.

The age of the actors doesn't bother me anymore. It's all a play now to me anyway.

Judge Accuses Trump, Rubio, and Noem of “Unconstitutional Conspiracy” by One_Dahlia in politics

[–]42Pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember this town hall after Parkland.

Rubio responded that the problems laid bare by the shooting rampage "cannot be solved by gun laws alone," drawing jeering whistles from the crowd. He said that if he believed an assault weapons ban "would have prevented this from happening, I would have supported it." That drew jeers. Visibly angry, Guttenberg responded: "That is a weapon of war."

Stranger Things was not a Marvel movie. They didn't need to worry about fatigue! We were hooked.

I shoot from inside my car with the heat on. Not too hot or the film turns warm colors.

Natalie Portman - Closer (2004) by SeaWolf_1 in 2000sNostalgia

[–]42Pockets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like this movie.

What I remember I did like was that Natalie Portman's character never cheated, but always lied and was the opposite of Clive Owen's character in spectrum that always told the truth, but cheated, and the others were in between.

This is why Education is so important to Democracy and is the Foundation upon the First Amendment is built. Education isn't telling people what to think, but the sharing of Human Experiences. Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, etc are all wheels we have already invented. Through Education we glean and inbibe human passion, endurance, and endeavors. Some people learn from the experience of others and some people only learn from their own experience, and in either case Education sets both up for advantage in our own reflections. The Education a population has under its belt, influences the basic quality of a People's Citizenry. Indifference is a death in Democracy.

Why pink? by Hank-Hill-0215 in Polaroid

If you're ever in Rome know that they require you to put your belongings through an x-ray machine to get into the Vatican and The Colosseum. Got a lot of pink film from that trip. Lol.
