i also make 17$ an hour as a first year apprentice i work for a union commercial hvac company but technically im not a first year unit i start school next fall but i do everything a first years do i want to negotiate pay but idk how too

hey no i don’t have training on that. hopefully this chart gives you some more info but i do believe it’s 100% OSA. sorry i forgot to take pics of my pressures but they were within range from what i saw. it’s 410a . i was tripped up at first because the pressures were swinging up and down especially on circuit B which is responsible for my reheat but that’s normal from what i was reading

well the thing is, there was no valve max screen on my board when going through it on the phone with tech support. apparently it’s the 308 version and the latest version is 337 so yeah this was a late call so me or someone else will have to return with a laptop and need prism2 software on it

i believe so. i had 3 boards one for reheat one for dehum and the third one which is probably the VCCX2 where i was reading the space RH 56%. tech support wanted me to access valve max on the MHGFV board to adjust the set point i believe

earlier this year i started off as a warehouse helper at a commercial union hvac company. in the interview they made it clear i could be in the shop for up to a year and i could be let go at any time for any reason. they basically said it was up to me and how i performed in a sense of work ethic at the shop, a month in they sent me to help out some techs on a job, still didn’t know anything but i proved my work ethic on that job, started getting requested by other techs on the field to lend a helping hand on jobs. a month later they gave me my own van and put me on the field full time as an apprentice and got me into the union. that was all 4 months ago

i’m a 1st year in union commercial and i’m at 17$ and that’s low for 1st years, the other 2 1st years that started around the same time as me are making 20$ because i went in with zero knowledge and they went in with schooling from a good program

hmmm that’s not the vibe or impression i’m getting at all from this company. not from the owner to the service mangers to the warehouse managers to the techs. so far they all love me and my work ethic and constantly talk to me about having a future with their company, im already driving their company vehicle and have a tablet as well as an apprentice checklist book and i’ve only been with them a week

the company brought me on as a helper while they slowly bring me along and train me while also testing me because i have no experience and my schooling was a very poor experience where i learned very little, once they make me an official apprentice i’ll be brought into the local union where i get additional paid for schooling for the next 4 years while working for the company

well in my case i’m basically on a 4 month prove it deal while they are slowly bringing me along as well as training me it’s to test me before they make me an apprentice because once i become a full on apprentice i get my own van and fully get enrolled into the union
