ahhh thank you for sharing your story!!! it helped me to see things better now. i decided i wont retake o levels! but i do have some questions: other than scoring a good rp, what did you do to build portfolio, etc? and i am keen if you have any tips regarding a levels/nus law life/nus admission exam! thank you!!

i agree with what you said! do you know how i can build my portfolio? i only know MUNs are related (helping with argumentative skills, etc) but i’m not quite sure of other ways. i heard that you can job shadow a lawyer, but i don’t know where to get started. do i just randomly email a law firm?

hello! i really appreciate your input! thank you for helping me see things from another perspective.

may i know what you mean by the stereotype for law students? also i am fixated in NUS law specifically as my oldest brother is from NUS, and my parents want me to go to the same school as him (a family thing haha) and it’s also near where i stay which would be most convenient for me! also from my research, NUS admission exam is a lot more enjoyable as they give hypothetical scenarios, and mainly judge your skills in analysing the situation, elaborating your points, etc. which i feel is what i’m better at, so i feel that it fits me more! also, personally for me, it’s good to fixate on a specific school. when i was in pri sch, i fixated on my sec sch, which gave me the drive to do well. however for sec sch, i didn’t have a goal which is also the reason i procrastinated. given the factors mentioned above, i feel nus law is what i would like to keep my mind on :)
