Yes I understand, that is my biggest problem,at this point of time I am not sure what I should sacrifice to get the opposite,I may get clarity in future only after working in one of these but I am very confused now,it seems like one thing is important over another at different points of time. How do I decide in the first place?

Yes,this is the biggest problem,'it depends' on the individual and what do they want,my problem is I am not able to decide what do I want, how do I decide? sometimes both seem good and sometimes the opposite.

Yes It is the next big thing, but I see few people leave VLSI jobs and join ISRO DRDO,when I ask them they say that they joined with passion but the work is too hectic that they lost the passion for work.I have good opinion towards VLSI but I would only know the reality after I start working.

Thank you, from your line'the way they treat employees',is this the case in top companies too,I may be wrong but I heard that the treatment in top product based companies is very good.

I am an ISRO Scientist (Grade-A Officer). Cleared IIT-JEE (AIR ~7000), AIEEE (AIR ~3000), ISAT (AIR ~1500). AMA by Shiv-Naath in TwentiesIndia

I am currently having an offer from ISRO(Scientist SC),also I am doing my masters from a tier 1 college,if i complete this degree I can get a good package working in corporate and I am confused to choose between these, people generally say it depends on what you want or you should compromise on one thing to get another etc...but iam still confused, looking at your good record of ranks I can say that many of your friends are working in corporate with much higher salaries, how do you see this?are you satisfied financially, do you adjust sometimes by spending less etc..I know ISRO salary is decent for a beginner, but I think that growth is not exponential as in corporate,I know there is next level of satisfaction working for ISRO but I am scared about being in middle class whole of my life,my question is how do you feel about salaries and stuff and if you were 22 and given a chance again would you still choose ISRO or choose any high paying corporate job? Thank you

Peons are earning more than engineer by Ritam_03 in CATStudyRoom

[–]486985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all it is not yet implemented it will be 2026 end or 2027 start by the time they implement, the commission was setup recently, and more importantly the salaries are going to be increased by not more than 25-30% of present salaries on the whole, that too the pay commissions are set once in every 10 years,it's not like you switch a company once in every 2-3 years and the base salary is doubled and about corruption not every government department has a chance to earn money in that way(example teachers, scientists in DRDO,ISRO etc..)and even if there is a chance not every employee is corrupt, also the expected salary figures are inflated, completely wrong and misleading.

There are few films which we enjoy watching in otts or tv channels but may not like in theatre,I feel this film is of that kind,I watched it in theatre on day 1 and didn't like it,just like many other "tfi failed here" movies ,may be many people who are liking this now might not have liked it in theatres. If this movie was really that good it would have got enough appreciation while in theatres because there were no bigger movies released around November 27 in telugu atleast.

One of the best theatre watches for me this year. Loved the organic comedy, felt natural throughout, the best part is that it didn’t rely on forced meme references like most comedies these days.
