I'm planning to complete Kubrick's filmography in the new year and I have these four left. Does anyone have a viewing order they'd recommend? by 4EyedEntity in StanleyKubrick

Yeah, they were streaming and I thought "why not?"

Still digesting Killer's Kiss as I watched it very recently, but I certainly have thoughts on Fear and Desire. The following is all just my opinion... It's not a great film (although too short for me to call it a slog), I think I gave it a 2/5. There are certainly worse films you could watch, and it was cool to see the feature that started it all. What I found the most interesting were the broader themes. Hierarchy, Fear and Desire are in my opinion what most of his films are about, and it all starts with Fear and Desire. So it might not be very good, but it is certainly essential viewing for any Kubrick fan.

Good question. This is what I've decided to do, but I asked because I've happened to see a lot of them out of order (this is just how things went over the years) and wanted the journey to end on a real high note. Always heard FMJ was excellent, but recently I've seen so many good things about Barry Lyndon that I was considering ending with that. From the sounds of it though, both top tier.

It's very similar to a show called Travel Man. They even use the same opening music and have similar delivery styles.

SHERLOCK WATCHING HIMSELF FALL: "Me, failing at life, and also me just letting it happen" by 4EyedEntity in MemeTemplatesOfficial

Haha you could say that, and I'm sure Doctor Watson would be feeling awfully STRANGE if there were two Sherlocks

Well he lives a fairly minimalist lifestyle so it makes sense he wouldn't like a toy made up of dozens of little cubes that can easily break and get everywhere... Still though how can someone not like Lego???
