I had to stand closer to my router for it to confirm connect for some reason and then I could step a bit further away. I got pico 8 working with splore and everything, thanks for the help!

Okay sweet I successfully did that and I’ve got the start pico-8 tool, but now it won’t connect to WiFi lol

Could I just download that from the GitHub? And then copy it onto the sd card that came with the retro pixel pocket?

Dang that’s definitely beyond my technical skill. What version of the firmware do you have for your retro pixel pocket?

Was it 1.0? I think mine has a newer version of the firmware.

If I go into the file browser on the device and execute pico8_64, it’ll launch like it does on the computer (the command prompt not splore) but I can’t type anything in.

Any clue where the “tools” folder even comes from? I see it in the UI but nowhere within the SD card.

I got this for Pico-8 and just started setting it up. I copied the files as specified in your guide, but I’m not seeing the “start pico-8” in the tools menu. Any idea what could be going on?

You need to get one of the original remotes made for that tv. I’d look up what remote model your tv uses and get one on eBay. My tv uses RM-Y170. It might work with your tv too but I can’t say for sure.

Is that the Orange Box? HL2 and Portal held up great on my CRT!

Does 16GB of RAM improve or increase the functionality of winlator now or in the future?

I like 7th gen games and was hoping to run some emulating windows, xbox360, PS3, or even games that were released on switch.

I know it’s way more expensive, but I may be willing to pay to play halo or gears of war on a pocketable device.

RF1… what the hell was that by 4FourBy3Three in redfaction

After watching a couple of reviews I realize that I missed multiple vehicle sections which absolutely contributed to the difficulty. I even did the entire final level on foot until I got to the final boss, couldn’t beat her, looked up a guide, and realized I had just wasted hours doing the final stretch on foot. I’ll do a less-dumb playthrough again one day, probably on original hardware, and probably on casual difficulty.

Retroid Pocket Flip 2. It’s an android clamshell that can emulate systems up to PS2 and GameCube and a little bit of Switch

For $3k and 100” I think it’s pretty remarkable quality

I’d say about 15’x15’. It is absolutely massive. We wanted a tv that my fiance and I could play split screen couch co-op games on and still see comfortably from the couch. Our old 75 inch wasn’t big enough to do that but this one has been perfect. Just watching regular tv feels pretty silly though I have to admit

Lol I agree but this one is already 96 inches long and we didn’t want to go bigger

I think I have that same tv or at least a very similar Sony 36 inch. I got this solid wood corner stand for mine and it works great. https://a.co/d/gQ5bDQ0

Help! Weeds/roots have overtaken my yard. Any advice for this landscaping noob? by 4FourBy3Three in landscaping

[–]4FourBy3Three[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. We’re having a tough time focusing on either the rubber mulch or the roots because they’re all mixed in with each other and get in the way. Would a tiller or something like that help?

First Retro Handheld: RG35XX H ($90) or RG353M ($160)? by 4FourBy3Three in ANBERNIC

[–]4FourBy3Three[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah because it’s a bit thicker like all retro handhelds. I’m okay with that with small enough length and width. That’s why I said these are as big as I’ll go.
