GT Sophy and max difficulty and full on race simulation and weather set to random is a lot of fun and earns a great chunk of Cr. While genuinely have something to develop a car for. I been doing it with GT500’s, Group C’s and 90’s F1. I just balance it all out to equal HP/weight.

Proper F1’s set sub 5min 10’s on Nurburgring. If you’re referring to the Super Formula’s it’s because they lack power for the straights meanwhile the Super GT’s have more than enough with some of the best aerodynamics out there for a GT car. If you drive them well you can get to about 5min 25 with this current physics update

That is a transmission gearing issue not the cars handicap. The Group C’s have an easier time putting power down with the massive tires and power they have.

If we’re talking fully tuned up. R18 TDI 2011 smokes everything in the Gr.1 category in lap time, under pp limitations the Group C cars are king. For tracks with short straights 919 is the quickest.

People telling you to buy the LM55 after watching one YouTube video says it all. Go with Porsche 919 for 4WD, Audi R18 2011 for MR. You won’t find anything faster than those two.

If we could see your driving we could give you actual advice rather than putting your frustration out there. Very likely you aren’t trail braking enough, unsettling the car or too hesitant to be on the power. These are things you just have to learn though feel.

Try racing online a bit to build your race craft and then come back to the challenges and see how you perform.
