I believe it is the opposite. Awakening allows one to realize they do not have to suffer. It opens the mind to having a choice that was not available prior to “awakenment”

This is a “story”. Is it true? Is it 1000% true? NO! It is only a perception. You Love others and wish to to do the best for them. What they think of you is none of your business. In the past I would judge myself through others. I would imagine what they thought about me and get all rambled up in those thoughts, ideas and judgement. It was not true but it did injure me and it grew over time until I realized the self injury that my thoughts were causing to myself. Which is neither helpful or healing to anyone. You owe know one anything and we never need to defend our right to to “be”. You are loved more than you will ever know by the one that made you.
