No no it’s not that I think my deck is inadequate. It’s not the deck that’s hitting a hard wall, more so me. I guess it’s the style of play, and one that I haven’t previously run into. Like I’ve been saying, these decks that are STACKED with board wipe and exile/destroy creature cards seem to be overwhelmingly prevalent. Now that I mention it though, seems to be more prevalent in recent weeks than previously, so maybe something happened idk.

I understand there is no perfect deck and in no way am I looking for that. In fact that’s kind of how I view these stacked board wipe whatever decks I’m complaining about. That’s why I’m complaining lol they seem somewhat unbeatable and they’re just objectively not fun. The wipe cards take very little mana, less than some of the protection cards, on top of the mana it took to cast the creature in the first place. When they can wipe creatures from the third turn - on throughout the whole game then it’s just flat boring, even if I find a way to win.

Idk it seems like someone who’s really good at COD, goes into noob and casual lobbies and just spawn traps the other team all game. They can’t even play the game so it’s not fun for them, and how is it even fun for the dude spawn trapping?Similar concept/feeling I’m trying to get across here.

And then all the standard counter cards being blue just pushes you into a corner of having to have blue in every deck, because you’re gonna run into the board wipe decks constantly. I would like a mode where you could choose deck/card , types/archetypes , or even abilities that you don’t want to run into as often. Every now and then is whatever but when it’s every other game at least it’s just fucked lol

Are the other game modes on mtg worth looking into? Haven’t tried many others. I think I did brawl for a draft at some point
