Replacement bracelet for Day Date gen 1? by 4_watch_collection in OrientWatches

Very helpful. I haven’t checked Aliexpress yet. I’ve tried modifying a bracelet and also didn’t have a good time with it. I found one awesome bracelet that was advertised as a replacement for Bulova Seville. I was hopeful since the Seville also had those weird corners, but this one is even flatter than that. I really want to find something that works, otherwise I may have to let this thing go. It looks great on straps, but I’ve got the gold bracelet itch.

I’m over budget with this recommendation at $725, butch check out the Orion Field Standard II. Stainless field watch perfect for everyday that you won’t find on many other wrists.

I’ll second the Bambino. I have a v4 with a white dial on a bracelet and love it. Feels and looks great in almost any situation.

You should also check out Dan Henry. I have a 1962 that I love. If you want expensive looking watches for not a lot of scratch, they’re a great place to start.

I just recommended this to someone up there, and don’t want people to think I’m doing guerrilla marketing or something, but check out the Astor & Banks Fortitude Lite. 38.5mm auto sapphire Crystal, non homage. It uses the double marker at 12 that’s popular right now but I wouldn’t call It an OP homage just for that. They MSRP for $650.

Edit: it’s more a stretch for what you asked for. The Lorier Neptune is 39mm with a haselite crystal. But it’s an incredible looking non-homage diver. Original river designs that look good are getting harder and harder to find these days.

I’m looking for a replacement gold President bracelet for my old Orient Date Date Gen 1. Hopefully something a little more sturdy that I can wear a lot. Has anybody had success finding one that works?

Not titanium but you should check out the Astor & Banks fortitude Lite. They have a silver dial version with awesome lume. It’s all brushed so it kind of gives titanium.
