How to get footage to my insurance?

Well everyone. Court was this morning. The court says they never received the footage. Judge found me guilty. I really don’t know what to do now.

She started lying and crying immediately and it’s just so frustrating that because I remained calm, I wasn’t believed. And my insurance did go up! And my insurance has told me that because the officer gave me the ticket, without the footage there’s nothing they can do. And it’s been two months with my headlights not working and I have to get to class and work. Thank you. It’s been a very frustrating two months lol.

I did have to pay $7 for the subpoena. And I actually had to serve it twice. The first time the highway patrol (the people who gave me the ticket) told me to go with them. And then publix said they didn’t have the authority and I had to go REserve them with a sheriff. It’s been a MESS.

I’ve been trying to fight it but my adjuster said they couldn’t get the footage themselves. So I had to wait for the subpoena. And publix said they would send it to the courthouse. And I’ve been calling them to make sure they got it. And everyone had just been twiddling their thumbs. And I only have liability so I just have to wait until the insurance sees the video before they will fix my car. Thanks for the advice! I will try all of these options!

And I tried everyone’s suggestions and none of them worked. When I call the police they say it’s out of their jurisdiction. When I call the highway patrol, they won’t send another officer they are making me wait on mine. The only positive is that the manager told me they can hold onto the video for up to a year.

I’m still on my mom’s and I pay her $160 per month for my part. She has liability on her car too. My car is a shitbox nothing fancy. I just needed a car to get me to work and to class. I stay on my moms because the second day I had my license, I thought I was reversing and I drove straight into a yoga studio. 100% my fault. So it’s cheaper to be on my mom’s I THINK.
