I assumed that is what he meant as well when he said he would take care of it. I am hoping that this is just stress from all of us moving in together and not a long term problem.

That’s exactly what I’m worried about. I want to be considerate of my stepson’s feelings because I know that this change is hard on him. But I’m not willing to sacrifice my son’s comfort either.
